...............................)
on a side note... i dont quite understand how a direct flight from Portland, OR to Burbank,CA can cost 400 bucks! but a flight from Redmond,OR to Seattle,Wa with a one hr layover in Seattle,WA then fly to Burbank,CA can cost only 120 bucks.....
the more and more i know about traveling.... the more and more i like to drive my own truck....

For your flight--you will go through TSA security and have to remove belt and shoes, so prepare in advance. Hat and jacket and everything in the pockets. Watch how it works and you can do it smoothly.
As I am prone to running off at the mouth, I suggest you try not to. TSA agents might realize most of this is BS, but don't suggest that to them. Likewise, flight crews don't want to debate anything either, and are most happy to have people removed if the look like trouble. Being visibly drunk, even if you are not mouthing off and are otherwise doing everything right will land you back in the lobby also.
Enjoy your trip and good luck with it!

Don't blame you on preferring to drive.

Your mags will keep you busy during the flight. Stuff some iPod music in your ears and the trip will fly by.... Expensive snacks on board, so bring your own nuts or chips.
Water is $4 a bottle, so hydrate well before the airport terminal. Luckily toilets are still free, but dang few drinking fountains.

Morning all!
Did you guys catch wind of the trip David and I took this past weekend to Alamo Mountain? I found a back entrance to Hungry Valley SVRA that I didnt know about and saw it leaded to Alamo Mtn. We decided to head back together and ended up camping at the base. Great drive. 4x4 not required, but recommended. I would say clearance is required.

There were two camp sites with outhouses, I liked the second better.

Reminds me of the old saw, "It ain't for sale, but it can be bought".
I think some people make a hobby out of posting stuff on Craigslist, thinking along the lines of the above adage. After all, CL is free, takes only seconds to renew a listing once you've written it. And who knows? There might be someone out there looking for just that thing. We laugh at his silly overpricing which bothers him not at all.
Does a creative listing on Craigslist make one a published author? I think technically it does.
