Oh boy, Here we go again.. Carb issues

Carb is BRAND new. I put it on truck about 2 weeks ago and truck ran well with the carb on, No leaks. Now it seems to just POUR gas out from the bottom, looks like its from under throttle plate onto the EGR piece. It will pour down the manifold and i did some research and found the float could be sticking. Well, I took the carb apart and wiggled the float a little to maybe loosen it up sort of speak then i took the needle and seat out and sprayed compressed air in the hole to blow back any dirt or debris out, i reinstalled seat and needle and put everything back together. Started the truck and same deal... Not as much gas pouring out but still seeps pretty fast after the bowl fills up. I will note that i am running a 3/8 Rubber fuel line to the carb and i pulled the hose off and cranked the engine and it gushes out like a water hose... so im thinking too much fuel pressure? but the thing is when it didnt leak and ran good i was running the rubber line then??? Im scratching my head here guys.. any suggestions? Thanks

Dirt. Not too much fuel pressure, although that could do it. But dirt on the needle will do it for sure. The tip of the needle is a soft material called Viton and dirt can be stuck on/in that. Take a clean soft towel and gently wipe the tip. And examine it closely in good light.

As for the fuel line, it doesn't matter whether it is steel, rubber, or plastic. What matters is that the gas is CLEAN. If the truck sat for some time the gas turns and the tanks rust. So I like to run two of the clear fuel filters on a truck that hasn't been used for some time and change them frequently.
