Seat Belt problem

Has anyone else had this problem; some days when I put my seat belt on,(drivers side only) it will not lock. some times it takes two maybe three try's to get it to lock?
I really don't want to spend $299.00 bucks on a 3 point seat belt maybe go to Ecology Auto Parts,(local Junk Yard) but they will probably want an arm and a leg too.

Clean it out and relube it back up. That's what I did on my sticky seat belt latch.

I tried that but maybe I will do it again. Thanks
I will use some rubbing alcohol and then some WD-40.
I used some 409 the first time, the belt seems to be getting worse. I guess the Q-Tips in the First Aide Kit might get used up. Thanks for the reply.

I guess I have too Much Blood in my Caffeine System.

I took out the offending seat belt latch from the truck and blasted it out with a good hard water hose stream. Seen some crud came out and after a few test clicks I used silicone spray to relube it. I got lucky it worked for me.

If you tried cleaning it again and still don't work, its time to hit the junkyard and find a better one.
