Used it to put my spare on after getting a flat. Now that my regular tire is fixed, my spare needs to go back on wench. HOWEVER, the guy at the tire place tried and tried and couldnt get the wench to move or lift the spare. ARRRG!

I need a new wench.

Does anybody know how to do this?

 

I wish mine came with a wench. Maybe after she put the tire away, she could clean the house and do the laundry. Now, if you're talking about a winch, that's something entirely different.

Just go to the junkyard and pull one off. The beauty of the junkyard is that you get to practice on something that isn't yours. I seem to recall there were only a few bolts holding it on. Most junkyards remove the wheels and tires so the spare probably won't be in your way.
