This truck has been sitting for some time, I just got it on the road again.
I put a in line filter in it and it seems to clog daily.I dropped the tank and cleaned it the best i can with B12, but could not get all the trash out from the way the tank was designed.

So i was thinking of using a spin on filter like Wix 24770 & Napa 4770 Filter Base. http://www.fleetfilter.com/filter/24770.html.
Would i be able to us it in line before the fuel pump on a 1976 f100 with a 302 or would there be a flow problem?

Highly recommend!! As mentioned, I also flushed the fuel tank and found the inline fuel filter worked okay but not as effective as the canister type; found deposits in carb. screens on rebuild. Installed similar type canister fuel filter on the 65 driver's side inner fender several years ago, basic as it gets; inlet/outlet, and have not had a problem w/ leaks. Suggest search availability of the replacement filters.
