Air Flow switches To defrost on Acceleration
Hello All. Just registered today.
I have a small RV on an 2006 E450 V10 gas chassis. The air flow switches from vent or AC to defrost when I accelerate then returns to the vents when I let off the throttle. This issue is well documented here in the forums along with some great trouble shooting tips and work arounds. Very helpful. This is a great site!
I am planning a trip in the RV in the next few days and won't have time to get it fixed before I leave. I don't see anything in the posts that answers my questions - can I operate the truck in this condition without doing any damage to the engine, drive train, etc. and will my gas mileage suffer?
Thanks in advance for any input.
