Dome Light Question

When I purchased my 84 some one removed the dome light. Im looking at finding a new one. Will either a dome light or a map light work? Is there more wiring for a map light?

Yes, there is more wiring for a map light as the map lights work independently from the dome light part. Plus, the map light units were packaged with the cargo lights.

I'm sure you could make just the dome light portion of the unit with map lights work. But to make the map lights themselves work you need the harness from one of the trucks.
