A/C condensate drain

A/C condensate drain
I have two 96;s. One with 4WD and one 2WD, both have the 4.0 engine.
Ive noticed that there is a slight musty, mildew type odor coming from the AC on the newer one, for me, 2WD unit. Read a few posts here and see that there are differnet tips on solving this. One of the threads mentioned that there is a drain line hose on a 94. After investigating this I can not find any drain line hose on either of my units. I did notice that the condensate was coming out of the botton right corner, looking up from below, of the coil housing from what appeared to be a hole. On the other unit, 4WD, this area is dry and the condensate is coming from somewhere that is not easily viewable from below.
Anyone have any info on where the drain line is or where the condensate should be draining from?
I did find that when one of the electronic sensors that is bolted into the housig just above and behind the blower motor is removed is provides a nice acces hole to view the coil.

There’s no hose on my 87. I just changed the evaporator last month and I didn’t even see a hole. I guess the water just leaks out where the two pieces of plastic come together…..right onto what passes for a frame and runs down and rusts away one of the bolts holding the upper control arm. The puddle of water is in the same place on my 97. Just inside and forward of the tire.

There is no drain hose.
He can see where it drains if you look in the passenger foot well there is a a plastic piece by the hump that is the drain going through the firewall. It technically leaks between the plastic and firewall. You can always drill a 1/8" hole to help it drain if it is an issue.
Also you do get a better view if you pull the blower motor.
