Went to start my truck 4.0 and it locked up, then released.. just turns over. took a plug out of each side, driver is dry, passanger is wet, has spark. low compresion. dont know if i should pull motor.. thinking timing chains... I'm more a body and paint man then a mech.. need help...

 

Is the passenger side plug wet with fuel or something else? Have you checked for spark on both banks of the engine?
