when you say top injector oring you mean the one where the oil rail nipple goes right

Pull the valve cover and flip the key on so the fuel pump will run. Don't crank it over. Or if it's an option on your diag equipment, command the fuel pump on. If you watch the video Runs-wifey posted above you can see what you'll be looking for. Fuel leaking from the offending injector(s) will be visible.

Were getting to the limits of my skill/experience level here but the fuel supply is separated from the crankcase until it gets past the banjo bolts on the front of the cylinder head, so the leak would have to be after that point (somewhere in the cylinder head). The fuel supply passages are cast (machined) through the head to the injector cup area. So if the fuel isn't coming up from around the injector and mixing with the oil there, it may be leaking into the cylinder around the injector cup and then around the rings into the crankcase. I think I have read a cracked head can leak fuel into the oil system as well. Short of pulling the heads to visually inspect, if a bore scope is available, inspecting for an unusually clean piston/combustion chamber or fuel puddling in the piston may shed some light on the subject.

Hopefully one of the Techs check this thread and offer some more specific info for you.

The other way that Anthony (run6.0run) Julie's hubby came up with would also work.
It involved draining the oil and then placing a catch pan under the open drain
and running the pump. The to isolate sides ha had a block-ogg tool he made
so that he could pressurize only one side of the fuel system at a time.

You got it Sean,,, that's the test Julie was referring to. Guess she should've been more clear. If you drop the oil,, run the pump,, and no fuel,, then you don't have a leak. Otherwise,, you didn't wait long enough with the pump running.

Negative---- That would be the air test,, that test has nothing to do with fuel.
