Rear driveline ujoints

Hi,

Just got done with the front end overhaul (hubs, ujoints, ball joints, seals) and want to change out the rear driveline u-joints to a DANA/SPICER greasable u-joint.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the three I need in the rear?

Thanks for the help
Joe

you have 2 different sizes possible

- 4 Wheel Drive
- 4-3/16 Inch Yoke
- 1-3/16 Inch Bearings

pn 330

OR

- 4 Wheel Drive
- 3-5/8 Inch Yoke
- 1-3/16 Inch Bearings

pn 331

These above part numbers have grease fitting in the yoke.

There are u-joints that have a plug in one of the cups to grease the joint. I do not recommend those. I have used them and they are difficult to grease.

Again......before you order them....crawl under and measure the width of the u-joint. The ones listed above are the wider ones.

Do you think you need the center support bearing? They usually are pretty durable.

Many times you can find items cheaper on eBay. The problem is how to get warranty on an item if it goes bad. Price the parts locally also.

Copy that my friend!

Do I need the carrier bearing....at this point no but it is going to be out and as a package deal I would just throw it in for good measure.

As for warranty....spicer is spicer and that part does not concern me to be honest and since I will be installing them, I know they'll be installed correctly.

Thanks for the help
