96 Ibeam Bushings

How many are there? 2 or 4? Figured if im going to tear apart the front end for balljoints and tie rods i might as well do these too.

Two axle pivot bushings. One for each beam (or TTB if you have 4x4). I recommend going with a poly bushing. In my experience, rubber ones don't last long at all.

Thanks thats what i needed. Ordered everything i could think of for the front end.
tie rod ends, ball joints, ibeam bushings, radius arm bushings, shocks.

If you have sway bars, you may want to replace the bushings for those too. Be sure to inspect the radius arm brackets, both of mine eventually cracked. Otherwise sounds like you're good to go. If it's 4x4, do the front axle u joints while it's apart (use a ball joint press on the passenger side inner so you don't have to open the diff & remove the stub shaft). When I last replaced those parts I dropped the front axle completely and used a ball joint press to do the pivot bushings. The first time I did it all under the truck and it was a bit frustrating. Also a good time for spring towers if yours are rotten. Man, it never ends!
