Exclamation 6.0 Fan mod.

This is for those who had made the mod . Take your chances and made some modification to it.

Yes Glenn and other have the mod, apparently without issues, but who knows. Prevent or anticipate is the clue.

I'd like to know what in the world is going on for the guys having issues. I've seen it 4-5 times now.

ETA it appears that it is related to distance between the fan and shroud. Fan catches shroud and gets thrown into the radiator.

It looks to me like a light trim of the shroud and you'll be good. I'm gonna take a look at my shroud and see. I don't have a 6.0 fan to measure up to though

I looked all around my fan and I have a lot of clearance. Right now I do not see a problem! Where is these goys trimming the shroud?

They are trimming on top on the flat part, at least that is what i think I read this morning. I'm too lazy to look at the thread again.. I'm gonna look at mine tomorrow.
