Putting mu 1982 Ford F-250 4x4 up for sale. Just don't have time to mess with it anymore and it's just sitting. Sunk quite a bit of money into it recently, but it still needs a little work to make it roadworthy, although it does still run and drive. It has the 300ci Inline 6 engine, T-18 4spd manual transmission (with creeper low 1st gear) and 4.10 geared axles (rear axle is posi). Truck only has 100,991 original miles on it.

Mechanically, the truck is pretty solid. Motor runs good, trans shifts good (clutch is fairly new, about a year or so old) and rears don't make any noise. The front driveshaft needs to be replaces though as the slip joint is worn out so it causes a vibration when in 4wd. Has a fresh tune up including new spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, Accel Super Coil and a brand new carburetor as well. The truck runs good, but it runs a little rich under load. Carb may need a smaller jet as it was a universal replacement carb.

Body wise, the truck was redone about 5 years ago with new fenders, hood , replacement doors and a paint job. There is no rust in the cab other than the drivers floor which needs patched (see pics). There is a piece of sheet metal in there for now as I never got around to ordering an actual floorpan patch panel to fix it properly. It did get bumped on the right front corner so the bumper is tweaked a little and the fender has a light crinkle. The bed is a custom built steel flatbed with built in "headache rack" and roll bar. It has removable wooden stake sides as well. Very sturdy piece with diamond plate floor. Truck also has dual fuel tanks, but the selector unit is bad so it only runs off the rear tank right now. Easy fix, just never got around to it.

Inside is typical 1982 Ford. Seat is a little worn and has a cover on it. Door panels are decent, dash is fair, etc. I did just install new window regulators and weatherstipping in both doors so the windows roll up nice and smooth. New felts installed on outside of glass, new inside felts are included, but not installed as I had planned on changing the door panels. Has an aftermarket stereo with new speakers in the doors too.

Overal, it's not a bad truck, just needs a little more work. I just replaced the power brake booster, brake master cylinder, both window regulators, window cranks, inside door handles, door weatherstripping and felts, all new tune up parts, new carburetor, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting. It's a solid truck. Most of the hard work is done. Has a custom built trailer hitch on the back as well that would pull a house. To be ready for the road again it will need carb adjusted/rejetted, drivers floor patched better, front driveshaft (to use 4wd), and a few other minor things. Windshield is also cracked and needs to be replaced. Has newer 16" tires with about 3/4 tread left. I just don't have the time to play with it anymore and am getting a newer truck. Would make an awesome off-road rig or work truck. Looking to get $1300 for it. Don't bother lowballing, the answer is NO. I don't "have to" sell it, so if I don't get my asking price I will just finish it up and keep it, or sell it for more as a ready to go vehicle.

The truck is driveable, so you can drive it home. I have a clean PA title in my name for the truck and it is still registered (inspection just ran out last month). Thanks
