2002 E150 A/C problems

You have a failed vacuum input somewhere.
Most often this is attributed to the heretofore unseen vacuum reservoir or one of its plumbing lines developing a leak.
Here's just one thread that probably incorporates almost everything needed to diagnose and fix this problem. It can be as simple as one line out of place or something more labor intensive but there are many work-arounds. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...efrosters.html
