Power Valve keeps clogging up, has anyone else had this problem?

It'll be on the back of the transmission just above the pan. I forget which side. But you can just follow the vacuum line that runs from the engine to the trans. It should be the only vacuum line going to the transmission. Another way to look for a vacuum leak is to take a Coleman propane torch and just turn the gas on without lighting it. Then pass the nozzle of the torch by the vacuum lines. If there is a vacuum leak and the nozzle passes it the gas will get sucked through the leak and you'll hear a difference in how the engine is running. Also don't forget to move the vacuum lines will doing this check. The lines will dry and conform to a specific shape and may not leak until they are moved. Such as the engine moves a little when put in gear or load is applied.

have you been getting your gas at the same place? maybe the gas has moisture/water in it.. causing that crap to form..if so, try something like heet that will help remove the water from the fuel, or try a water separator/fuel filter(the oil filter-like spin-on kind, like used on marine engines) might help.

Okay so i found the vacuum thing, started it, sprayed around up top looking (nothing) then went down to that valve and sprayed, it started running rough, but it took almost 10-15 seconds making me wonder if that is actually whats wrong.
I'm pretty convinced its a vacuum issue now. I feel like an idiot thinking it was the power valve now (although that may have helped it). Thanks guys.
