Bought my first 6.0 in 04, I was 26, had it only a year, it was bought back had an F-150 for a short time, and decided I wanted another 6.0. Some said I was stupid, but its been a really good truck and to be honest Ive had this truck the longest out of all of the trucks I bought new since 98.

BTW I just turned 37 on the 15th.

You carry yourself well. ( oh wait, you're not old enough for that)

Bought mine two years ago, and my first diesel also. I am 46 years young and still have a lot to learn.

30 and on my 3nd 6.0L I purchased a 2006 F250 Crew Cab in 2010. Now we have an 03 Excursion! Love this motor and trans combo in these heavy trucks.

Just turned 45 and bought mine last year. I gave my son my 01 F-150 Single cab SB V6 5Speed with 135K on the clock. I still have 2 kids at home and a 6K# boat and I needed something to tow them around. Found a good deal on mine before I knew about all the issues. 9K miles later I haven't had one (knock on wood) problem.

Mine was bought in May of this year with 109k. POs treated it like garbage and I have been working on it since. Maybe I got it going now. First diesel, but 4th Ford truck. Ranger->F150->F250 (plus an Explorer).
I'm 37.

I feel your pain! The PO's didn't treated mine like it would run forever without maintenance. Some of the stuff I found was appalling

Needless to say, my truck is MUCH happier and runs awesome now.
