My steering column is coming apart. It moves up/down/left/right/in/out. It binds and some plastic parts have broken. I don't know if it is related, but my PRNDL indicator is broken. To top it off, my power steering is out and it takes a major effort to turn the steering wheel, which, I'm sure, is aggravating the problem. I need to rebuild the steering wheel, is there a kit available? If not, is there an exploded diagram so I can see how it is put together and what parts I need?
I may as well fix the power steering. One of the metal lines off the reservoir popped off. I don't know if anything besides that is broken, but after running it dry for months I expect I might have to replace just about everything.

1995 F350 XLT crew cab 7.3 /E4OD tilt wheel , no air bag, cruise control.
When mine got that way they said it was toast. I had bought a few parts to rebuild it. I had ball bearings dropping to the floor. They didn't use them but instead hunted down another steering wheel to replace mine. That was no easy task and expensive. A few hundred dollars later I have virtually a brand new assembly. The old one was getting very scary.
I have one in a 1995 manual tranny XLT cab I just bought. Don't know how much crosses over between auto and manual.

Wheel should be fine. IIRC, the only difference between the automatic and manual columns is the cover with the lever. And I'm pretty sure some other Fords share the column; Crown Vics, IIRC. Have you tried car-part.com? Place in Del-Valle lists one for column shift, no air bag, tilt; no price. If you look up Crown Vic, a lot of places come up. But do some research to confirm that it's interchangeable.

Agreed ^^. It's going to be a TON easier to just swap the columns than it will be to take yours apart and rebuild it. To remove the column, it's a matter of disconnecting 2 or 3 wiring connectros, pulling one bolt on the u-joint on the steering shaft and slipping it off, then removing the covers (3-4 screws) and pulling 4 nuts to drop the column off the dash and unhook the shifter cable. Past that, just swap your lock cylinder into the new one and reinstall. It's not a bad job at all. Just make sure you get the keys with the new one so you can swap the lock cylinders, you have to have the key for the cylinder in order to put it in the "run" position so you can pull it.

My question about the power steering was answered, today, by the power steering pump seizing and the pulley coming off. Now, not only do I not have power steering, but I don't have power brakes and the alternator isn't charging.
I have to replace the power steering pump. Right now my truck is stock, but I have bigger tires planed, no more than 35s, with a modest lift. Will a stock power steering pump be enough or should I think about something more robust?

My key will not turn in my 1995 F350. I had the whole cylinder replaced a couple of years ago, I used MotorCraft parts and had a locksmith rekey it to match the doors. Every once in a while it would not turn using the spare key I keep in the garage. I would pull it out and flip it over and it worked fine. I never had any issues with the new keys until yesterday.
After a few minutes and wiggling and the correct swear words it would finally turn. I had to call into work tonight because I cannot get it to turn again. Got tired of working in the dark so I called it quits till morning.
Anyone have any clues and or guidance. This is my daily driver and I need help.

After a couple of videos on Youtube and from what I could find on here, I decided to tear into it hard today.
I got it to rotate and removed the tumbler. Looks like my tumbler assembly is sticking. It will not turn in my hand. I called the parts store and they pulled one off the shelf and said it turned for them.
I did find a small brass piece and a plastic inside the opening.
The slide rod that goes to the ignition switch moves no problem and the pin it hit to activate the switch works OK. I removed the ignition switch I am now just using the slide pin to start the truck until I go get new parts tonight on my way to work. I'll be late but I'll be there. I'll try and get some pics and more info on this by tomorrow when I hopefully get it all back together.
