Unhappy 2008 ESCAPE XLT ELECTRICAL? HELP

Hello everyone. My 2008 ford escape xlt got a few lights turned on. While driving home yesterday, several dummy lights came on all at once all of a sudden -- the air bag light, the ABS warning light, the traction control warning light, and a few other lights. I press the trip reset button and that seems to fix the problem for 10 minutes until they all come on again. Then my speed and hot/cold gauge completely drop. I can't tell my speed! It doesn't move an INCH. That's really scary. Lately it has been turning on and off A LOT. I went to get the computer checked out and had no codes come up. Also, when im about to start the car and turn the key, there are times when i get ZERO feedback! I keep turning the key and nothing happens! i have to reinsert the key and it usually works. is anyone having similar issues? Please guys! Any help would be great!!! Thank you! Last thing! My mile tracker also goes blank. The lights go away once i press the trip reset button but they come back on after a bit.

Sounds like something in the GEM module is on its way out, they have to be programed not just replaced, That is a dealer my friend.

An 08 Escape doesn't have a GEM module.

Start by checking your battery, the battery power and ground cables, and the charging system. If the vehicle's electrical power isn't stable and adequate, nothing else will be expected to operate correctly.

Might be a fault in the cluster, needs more testing (AFTER verifying the above).
