Got a new 1977 van and it has a few problems

I just picked up a 77 van with a 300 cu in engine and a c-6 trans. seems to have worked out most of the bugs but I have a few more problems to fix.

one is the instrment cluster is in sad shape. all the gauges don't work in it. I think I need to replace it. Took it a part and looks like the plastic housing has been either eaten on or the heat has just distroyed it. It is in peices. Any suggestion on how to solve this.

Thanks

I'd shop around on eBay looking for a known good condition cluster---might be the only real solution?

i found one in the local salvage yard off a 90 e-350 diesel van. man was I surprised to see the same part numbers on the housing. I did not have to take anything apart, it had already been taken off and toss on the floor of the van.

got it for $15.00, deal.

Dude----that absolutely R-O-C-K-S!

I tried that same cluster swap with a will fit new Ford cluster and it was a laughable hilarious experience---of course it was on a '97 gasser which by then had significant wiring changes that required the exact cluster.
