dana 60 3.54ratio

yes i buy dana 60 to a swap cummins , and i want to know if the ratio 3.54 is good for mpg...or and another ratio is better....

Depends on the tranny your using and the tire size. Dana 60 rear? If so take it back a cummins will destroy a dana 60 rear.

i see you have a gm14 does they have 3.54 ratio.?

No, 14 bolts go 3:73 to 3:42. A stock Dodge with a Cummins 94-98 had available ratios of 3:73 or 3:54. 3:73 is good for bigger tires and towing with a 5 speed nv4500.

Have you considered using a sterling. More modern and supposed to be stronger. Quite a few ratios available and limited slip.

so the best is take my dana 60 with kinpin for the front and take for the rear, a most recent diff by taking 94-98 dodge ram heavy duty like a dana 70 with tha same ratio i have (3.54)
