1976 f250 leveling, drop shackle? frontend
hey guys, i have a76 f250, sadly a dana 44 low pinion... and to level out the truck, i was going to cut out the original shackle for the front, and put in a drop shackle, 2 inches lower, ( highboys have 2 inches of rake stock ).. would this tilt my frontend forward? id like it to so i can get my pitch a little better in the frontend, but not sure if it even will? thabnks

I read the 1st part about wanting to "level the truck". Lifting a HB with the low pinion front axle and not installing degree shims, you get what you have, bad pinion angle, I guess.
"id like it to so i can get my pitch a little better in the frontend".
By "pitch" do you mean rake (truck setting to nose high or low) or your front axle pinion angle?
Maybe I am confused by your question or terminology?
