The adds in combination with the glitches have gotten to the point that FTE is near unusable and I often just close it and move on.


Might be me but my Win8 laptop often freezes when I'm trying to post and the adds cycle.


Now adds with audio so I have to mute my comp or close the window. Well I have things I'm listening to, so I'm closing FTE, it's not worth it.

 

Due to the encouragement of others here, go to adblockplus.org and install that software for your browser. FTE had gotten really, really slow and annoying for me because the ad servers were often very slow. Now I see no ads, and FTE is VERY fast.

I'd make sure you do a good system scan with antivirus software, as well as use something like Spybot Search & Destroy (download it, update it, run the immunization scan, immunize, then do the system scan and fix the problems it finds).

That's the best idea----instead of trying to get something free that costs someone money to produce for our benefit sharing the cost only seems fair.

I did it---no ads that I can see.
