Well now that's different. Unless that body is something special, I would say he has one too many zeros on the price.

The cowl and windshield look like a '35, but the doors and quarters look like a cross between an MG-TB, MG-TF, and a stage coach.

Why exactly is it listed as a 1951? Not a single 51 part listed in the description, or was than supposedly when it was built?

It's cool looking. Maybe the 5 is suppose to be another number. Craigslist is hit or miss around here with sales knowing anything Abt what they are selling.

I think it was built in 51. It says in the description that its was built from plans from a magazine published in 51

The description on the ad states that it's built on a '35 platform and it was built per do it yourself plans from a 1951 magazine article. The body lines mimic (very loosely) an Anglia but beauty is in the eye of the beholder because that's a style even a mother would struggle with loving. It's being sold as a parts only vehicle.

Very period-correct. Ugly or not, worth some money as a snapshot in time.

Gotta wonder if this thing has ever been run. If all the parts are available - but not installed - might just be another project vehicle. That's a long time to sit in hopeful anticipation of a new owner.

I think it's pretty cool, in a 'period piece' kind of way. At least it's all early ford mechanically. Isn't this what the rat rod guys are supposedly trying to imitate? This is a real one!
