And it's going on a 8 foot dent style side pickup

 

most service bodies do not use the bed holes. they use giant U bolts to clamp around the frame to the service body. Usually wood is between the body and the frame and the clamps squeeze it tight. same goes for flat decks.

 

Stuffz is right for mounting procedure. What your going to have to do is to measure your truck frames first. Some frames are 34" wide ie highboys and f350 duallies and most of the rest are 37" wide.
