Wow! What a truck! GB, you need this. Think of the lumber you could haul on this baby.

My problem is I'd want to haul trucks I don't need, and the lumber would just sit there.....It's a curse to be self employed.

T stands for tandem, the two sets of rear axles. Just like C stands for Cab over engine and B stands for Bus.

1954 was the first year Ford made tandem axles at the Ford factory. Before that they were shipped to an aftermarket plant.

I saw one of those Power Steering horn buttons once. It was on a 55 F-100 at a show. Most people did not realize how rare they are.

Which hood scoop has been turned around 180 degrees? The yellow one is way cool too. A friend and I were dealing on a '41 mack model E just last month. On the macks, the cast spoke wheels were 'East Coast', and the Budd type wheels were 'West Coast'. This is the mack I showed my buddy Fred a picture of and after he called the owner, Fred said "wanna go to Silverton?" 18 hours and 5 grand(his) later we were back at the antique machinery show in Lynden. Anyhow, just pointing out that some identical trucks could be bought either way.
