Replace side mirror insturctions

Could anyone provide me with instructions for replacing my 2014 F150 side mirrors? I want to switch to the towing mirrors. I am looking at the ones from 1A Auto and Ford's OEM. The ones from 1A are less expensive, but does anyone know how the quality compares to the ones from Ford?

Need help guys, there has to be a link somewhere (which I haven't found) that shows or tells how to do this???

Bump. Looking for the same thing. Someone clipped my dad's drivers side mirror and broke the glass. He needs to replace it and I was hoping to find him a "how to" on replacement.

It's super easy. Two 6mm screws at the bottom of the door, then there are 2 8mm screws, one behind the door handle (remove small black cover carefully with screwdriver). And one under the door handle (need to remove small grey peice with screw driver). Then the door panel can be lifted up and pulled outwards to expose the mirrors.

To remove the mirrors simply pull up the plastic cover over the mirror nuts, take off the 3 nuts (10mm I think), unplug the wire harness. And pull the mirrors out and replace.

Check YouTube I know there are videos on there.

2009-2014 F150 Door Panel Removal Instructions:

Here is a vid. You don't need to remove the window button part or the door handle to get to the mirrors though. Just remove the 4 screws. Lift up and pull out a bit, the door panel does not need to be totally removed.

As for replacing just the glass, there are some clips behind the mirror glass, not sure on their location or what the best way to do it is.

Not a Ford side mirror, but the process is the same…
