What is this plug??

I just got my first diesel truck. 1996 f-250 2wd 7.3. I found a plug-in that I don't know what it is for. It is on the driver's side front write next to the engine heater plug-in. It looks factory with the plastic harness. I tried to follow it but it gets lost other wiring. Any ideas what this plug is for??

^^ What he said. If it's on the core support and is a rectangular connector, that's what it is.

This first one is a bad picture, but this is the DRL module on an OBS and the plug I assume you're referring to.

Eeesh, look at that crusty core support. These were pics from my first truck from before I re-constructed the core support. Yikes!
