Reassembling Door Hinges

I've got the doors off the cab and the hinges disassembled. The doors are already primed and ready to be painted. I'm thinking I should have put the hinges back together before the doors were prepped for painting. My question is, in what sequence would you reassemble everything? It was such a hassle to get the hinge pins out that I'm afraid when I go to put the new pins in they'll get stuck half way in and I'll mess everything up again. Would it make sense to grind down the knurl at the top of the pin so that they can be removed more easily or would that make the doors too loose on the hinges? I also wonder about when to mount the mirror. I assume after everything is painted and back on the truck but that means removing the pin again. Sorry about all the questions but I can't decide what to do first.
