F-2, F-3 box and running boards

I just met a fellow in Frederick Md that has a set of running boards and a 8' box. The boards are pitted but not rusted through, they are sandblasted, some dents but not bad shape at all.
The box is pitted and only rust through is the front panel.....it is very straight and the stake pockets look good, the chains and hardware are not there, the pintles for the tailgate and the tailgate is not there either....the angles at the bedsides that accept the floor appear to be all there

I know I am always looking to upgrade bed I my truck, but distance is what usually holds me back. I am just outside Chicago. Cost of bed and shipping would scare me. I always find something else to invest in, and hope something closer pops up.

I sold an 8' box and RB's to a guy in Michigan a couple years ago......shipping was more than 2x the cost of the parts!

I just received a email from the guy with the 48/52 8' box in pretty good shape is going to send it to the scrapper.....I am surprised there is no interest in it......if I knew of this box when I was doing my truck I would have used it

He would be lucky here in MI, If he got $40.00 for the bed w the running boards if he took it the scrap yark, They dont care if its new or old they just see Ton value, when they buy "junk"..

Big thanks to Ed. My buddy picked this stuff up for me. Can't wait for him to find time to drive out and deliver.
