t 18 DATE CODE?

That does not follow the usual "casting number" sequence that we all know and love, but may be a "part number". Since I am not familiar with part number codes, all I can say is the "E0T" part of it would tell us:
E = 1980s
0 = 1980
T = truck
It does not follow date code patterns either. Both can be found here:
Classic Mustang Part Number Decoding Guide
This also references the ID tag and decodes the date as I did above:
The Borg-Warner T18 & T19 Transmissions - Novak Conversions
If reverse is over to the right and down, it is a 1979 or older trans.
Can't find anything else about date codes.
