F250 Headlight Cleaning Question

Hey guys. I've got a 2000 7.3 with the Harley headlights. The owner before me re coated the front bumper with undercoating before he sold it to me but forgot to mask off the lights. I've got some over spray on the bottom inch of the lights. How do I go about removing it without damaging the lenses?

Can't think of anything that can take that off without hurting the plastic. New ones is the only thing I can come up with.

Powerservice DieselKleen.

Seriously, it'll soften Line-X bedliner in a few hours and if you use it on a green scotchbrite pad it should clean it off without permanent damage to the light housing. Just lay off the elbow grease and don't scratch the plastic with the pad, and use SimpleGreen to get off the additive when you're done.

try vaseline or generic petroleum jelly. smear it on and let it sit a while. then try to wipe it off but don't be too aggressive with your cloth. cheap and worth a shot. good luck!
