I have had trouble with a small leak on the fuel filter cap. Seems like the bevel cut oring is the issue. Is there any place that sells those seperate?

 

I've never seen them available separately...let me look in my truck, I may have one. I'll PM you if I do.

 

I think you might be able to snag one at Silver State IH (off of Greg). Part #31749...I'll give you the one I have, if they don't have it.

 

I always save my old ones cause I haven't had good luck consistently getting them to seal. I hang them on a nail over the toolbox. They shrink back to regular size after they dry out...doesn't help you now, but maybe in the future.

 

Nice offer thanks. I'm ok this minute as had a spare filter. But now I'm short one oring for my next filter change. I will check at IH and see if they have any.

I bought 3 filters online, Racor I think. And the orings are twisted out of shape in the plastic wrap. I can't be the only one who has had this issue.
