F250 Steps on X

Anyone has the F250 steps (2001/2001) on their X ?? The oval ones with the thick aluminum brackets ?

I was wondering if they swapped the steps and reused the brackets with another type of step ?

Thanks

From what I understand, the 250 steps won't center properly as the overall door/cab on the truck is shorter than that of the Excursion. Not sure if the stock mounts for either vehicle would swap over without requiring some drilling or custom fab.

Crew Cab will, not Super Cab.

SC will be too short.

Don't apologize to him, he's a newb that got lucky. We know what we're doing here, go back to moderating the Smart car forums Stewart! Also when do I get to be a mod?

the crew cab step bar style will fit the excursion without issue. 1999-2015 will go on without issue.

the plastic platform steps from a crew cab will be a bit short.

sorry guys I think it got lost in the translation,
I already have them on the X, they came forma 01 F250.

But one got bent, being aluminum. All 6 brackets are fine, I was wondering
what to use to replace only the step.

I think DEEZEE made them for ford, Im waiting for a reply, If not I was thinking of just replacing both with 3 inch steel pipe...

Thanks
