castor oil for bio?

OK the place I work for I might be able to get used castor oil. And there is a lot of it. Just curious if it is a good source? Its not for cooking but for products.

Googled it and it looks like it should work. If in doubt make a small batch using the "Dr. Pepper" method and see what happens. Looks like the bio made from castor oil should have a lower gel point, which it a good thing come winter. I'm jealous and want some...
