I have really enjoyed the first few months of owning my F150.
While I thought I was going to pull my hair out at points....I got the truck the way I want it (for now)
Been a battle....
I bought the truck in March....paid $1000 for it.
Had ~ 190k with ~ 90k on a replacement motor.
It was used for a lawn care business for over 10 years.
Since then, I have done the following:
-New brakes (pads, rotors, shoes, drums)
-Flushed the brake fluid
-Installed Axle Repair Bearings, and replaced the diff cover
-Replaced the Pitman Arm, and front sway bar links
-new upper control arms (with new upper ball joints)
-new serpentine belt & belt tensioner
-new coils, plugs (Motorcraft Platinums), new wires
-swapped out all the fuel injectors with a set that I soaked in Seafoam for a couple of days to clean them.
-dropped the trans pan, did the fluid and filter. One month later, had the system flushed
-flushed power steering fluid
-replaced the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, fuel filter
-replaced the front grille
-did a full Seafoam treatment (through the intake)
-Replaced the upstream O2 sensors
-Replaced the alternator
-Superchips MicroMax tuner
-Maxbore modified TB
-"Gotts Mod" intake modification with the silencer removed from the intake tube
-Hypertech 160* thermostat
-Kenwood KDC-318BT head unit
-Navigator "Premium" package component speakers
-Navigator cluster with LED's installed
-Flowmaster knock-off (cheap Chinese) muffler with side exit exhaust
-"Lighting" style headlights with 7000k Nokya 80/100w 9007 bulbs with heavy duty harness
