Fuel sender/pump question

I omitted my rear tank on my 96 f250 7.3 due to it leaking some time ago. I ended up just now replacing both tanks. I had to buy the fuel sender for the back, ouch!!! I could have sworn the front sender had a pump attached. I received the rear sender and it has no pump. I know it has a pump on the motor. Am I dreaming about the front tank having a pump? The new sender i received for the back tank definitely doesn't have one. Please tell me it doesn't need one so I can quit worrying!! Part number I got listed was F6TZ9275DA, but on the part itself it was listed F6TZ9275B

There are NO in tank pumps on these trucks with a diesel engine. Only the mechinical pump on the engine unless it has been converted to electric pump delivery, then the pump is usually located in the frame rail.
