I've had both back to back. I put my average at about a 2.5-3 mpg diesel gain for what I do. For those that only hwy commute I could believe the difference to be more like 4 mpg tops.

Co worker of mine drives his 2013 6.7 roughly 40 minutes or 30 miles one way each day to work, he reports a standard 18 - 19mpg, some of that is back country road and then the rest is 55 to 60 on hw34. I drive almost half his distance in my 6.2 and get 12.5 regularly.. he also gets roughly 21 on the highway and I'm getting about 14.
