Hi from California
Hi I wanted to say hello. I have been a Southern California resident living in the San Bernardino Mountains for 37 years. Pretty new here and still learning how to navigate through the different sections of FTE website. If anybody has any suggestions feel free to let me know because I am old enough to know that every body can at least add some knowledge to my library. Really enjoying the wealth of information that keeps moving through the threads and pages.
Currently own a 1967 C-600 with many upgrades such as CL 9000 rear end and newer engine. It has been in the family since 85. It does not get used as much as it did 5 years ago, but hope that changes.
A 55 F1 with a 56 T Bird 312 in it with equal length headers and Edelbrock tri-power. It has been in the family since 64. It has been restored and painted 3 times. Still a blast to drive.
Owned a 49 F1 and 56 F1 during 65 and 66 but ran out of money for storage and maintenance so sadly they had to go. I briefly owned a 49 GMC half ton, which turned out to be the only, time ever owned a GM product. I really needed a vehicle and for a teenager $35 was too hard to pass up. However it served me well.
A 2000 Ranger with 2.5L. This thing has been bullet proof and still gets amazing mileage.
1972 Stroppe Bronco with the original HP 302. Once in a while take it to the desert just to putt around a bit. It still would make a great racer. It feels really stable at 100 plus. Of course it has a full roll cage and 3-point harness. It has been around since 1980.
Then there is my 84 F250 4X4, which is currently in the build state. I am hoping this will be a major workhorse.
Finally there is the 2003 F250 4X4 equipped with the manual 6 speed. This thing has really proved itself time and time again.
OK that is it, hope to hear back from some one. Thanks
