I put on nearly 45,000 per year, and I'm hoping my (brand new, heavy duty, high performance) rotors will last 2 years at least.

how many miles are you doing? brake pads twice per year and rotors every year? that's a lot.

Whats the price of those pads and rotors?

Are you doing all four wheels every time?

I am not here to justify why I do stuff to you. I told you what I do on my vehicle as you asked for my input and I gave it and told you why!

If I wanted to be an equal dick back I could have said why would you put (brand new, heavy duty, "high performance")stuff on your E.

I think you need to step back and take a deep breath. He was not "being a dick" at all. He was just asking a question.

I don't understand why you thought I was being rude.

I was just asking questions.

Obviously just some kind of miscommunication.

I use Wagner rotors on all our fords, dually's as well, you can tell there not just heavier but built better, never had one warp and they can take a beating believe me our drivers could give two *****s about metal to metal or trailer brakes that are not working. they let the truck do all the stopping. thats all I use.

You guys are unnecessarily derailing this thread with a pissing contest. How about putting ALL egos aside and return the topic or share something useful instead of citing someone for being rude and a dick all from what appeared to be an honest and simple question.

When we add what we think are "funny" emoticons more often than not they are NOT seen in the same light as might have been intended---keep that in mind.

Also keep in mind those who are becoming known for smart alec answers, dismissing others for a different POV do get ignored because no one wants to be bashed for simple innocent comments/ideas on any subject. Know-it-all's MIGHT have something to share but usually its nothing more than opinions, easily offended or want to come contentious if they're challenged or questioned about why etc.

This is a great sub-forum and can be kept that way by trying to get along and not add so much BS to what should have been a good topic for discussion.

And just what useful info did you contribute to this thread ? I saw nothing but another ego insertion. The OP castigated one member for asking a simple question. I called him on that. If you call that a pissing contest, then you've got some problems getting the meaning of some things

Hey wait! I am the OP and I didn't castigate anyone. Miscommunication there fellas.

May I please request that everyone here PLEASE remove the posts? Baddad, Pstruwing, and JWA. Please guys.

That will remove every remote hint of bad attitude and ego.

I don't think anyone here is guilty of anything but miscommunication.

Please guys: delete your posts. And we will all pretend like nothing happened.

No one wins, no one loses. Please!
