I have a phone number for someone here in Florida that has Shelby style fiberglass hoods.....says in the ad $450.00 PAINTED to match factory colors! wish I could find the ad with the picture now....

That's pretty badass - and made in USA. I'm still not putting money into something that aims the engine noise at my face - just something to consider. My hood has insulation, and I like it that way.

I still have the hood insulation in mine Rich. I went with this one because of cost, availability and looks.
The body shop that painted it was really impressed by the fit for an aftermarket hood as well.

I have a hood sitting in my garage that I was planning on doing my own ram air style on. It has slight hail damaging and in great conditions other then that. I can fab up some pretty awesome stuff. Now I have no use for the hood and no one around me seems to need one so in the garage it sits.
