I have to admit I kinda like these two. The top one if it had a more practical interior, the front fenders raised to match the rear and a better wheel and tire combination(dually) would be fantastic.
The second, I like extreme up travel and air ride so it can park low, but not so extreme, 4wd, and a more practical wheel tire combination.

Basically it seems like every few days there is a new thread of some guy with an insane desire to ruin a beautiful X. Instead of making new post I thought I would make this Stewart, if you do not approve then just delete and PM me, if it's fine let the flaming begin!!!

"This a limo truck. It has a f650 front end with a excursion back end. It looks like a dally in back but it's not. We bought it for traveling around to hockey tournaments. We love this truck and had a lot of great times with it. It has a diesel motor in it. It has 4 wheel drive which works great in the winter. We only had to use it a few times but it was nice to have when we needed it. It has a dividing window that goes up and down for privacy between the front and the back. I loved this for long trips. A tv screen is on the back side so the kids can watch movies when its up. Theres also a bunch of small tvs screens on the side which make it cool and exciting for the kids. This has a killer sound system in back. My wife and I liked watching movies back there. The kids love it. They didnt want me to sell it but we have 10 vehicles in the driveway and we can only drive 2 so I decided to liquidate. The paint job on the truck is not the greatest. It worked fine for me. I was going to have it repainted when i bought it but it ended up not bothering me so i kept it the way it is. You can fit a lot of kids in the back. I dont remember how many seat belts there are in the back but Ive had a bunch of kids ride back there. The ceilings are pretty low so theres not a lot of room for a bunch of adults. I took my wife on a date with friends once and 4 adults fit comfortable in the back. You can call my work if you have any questions."

"It just makes you shake your head. Seeing a giant Excursion on the ground with equally giant 28-inch wheels stuffed under each fender is a thing of beauty."
I'm shaking my head all right, wondering how in Hell you can consider this crap "a thing of beauty"...

You have to be into that kind of thing really. Personally I love it, but the time and money that goes into it and the end result isn't worth it. The reason I bought my X was to get away from that... seriously. The X was my "grown up truck" that I was supposed to leave stock and not mess with (I tried, I swear to God). I still like the mini trucks and love driving my Blazer, but the X is my baby now
The front bumper isn't fastened on all the way (I don't drive it). It runs good but everything has been stripped as far as A/C and heat so I could lower it easier. It looks "high" but it is lowered 5 inches in the front and 3 in the rear. I love the truck, but the X has my wallet now
This was it on day one:
