03 f-150 diesel conversion

Hi Im looking to find diesel engine that would make a good engine replacing a 5.4 triton I am capable fabricator was thinking of cat 4.4 but don't know of any transmission pars

If was to use a manual trans don't need to worry about computer compatible do i cuase if do that might think of using the cat 4.4
