I don't know what year you have, but I believe I used a 3/8" bolt for the top rear of the front fender to the cowl, while the lower mount was a 5/16" stud on the frame. The top of the fender bolts to the inner fender with 5/16" bolts, as well as the grill and upper pan bolts.

Zombiefied, if this is your '55, they are 5/16" x 3/4". From the factory they were fine thread (24), but the coarse thread (18) is good too.

You could put the year and model in your sognature and it would be there in all your posts.

You've gotta use the 5/16 UNF bolts on the cage nuts on the cowl. Same with any of the threaded nuts on the radiator support, J nuts on the grill etc. If you need nuts and bolts I.E. Inner fenders to fenders you can use 5/16 UNC. I just use UNF for all of them so I'm not tempted to use the wrong bolt in the wrong place.

I forgot about the threads in the radiator supports. Thanks for pointing that out.
