Tightwad Mod, WVO, do I need a FPR?

Hey everyone. I am trying to install a WVO system on my 97 and am trying to do my research but find seemingly conflicting information on this question.

My plan is to do the tightwad mod (fuel bowl delete), leave the regulated return.

Then, have a two tank, two pumps, to filters, check valves, and then have a valve at the regulated return (for fuel leaving the engine) that can send it into the veggie or diesel tank, depending on the circumstance.

My question, Do I need a separate fuel pressure regulator or regulated return for this to work?

Thank you.

I think there is only a select few that know very much about wvo here. You will need to maintain at least 45psi to run any fuel source but how to plumb it in I couldn't tell you.

Since these motors are DI (direct injection systems) they are not a good choice for the WVO conversions. The engines that work the best are IDI ( indirect injection systems) as in Mercedes Benz and early 6.9 and 7.3 Ford non turbo engines.
