Rotella T6 extended drain interval?

I have been running Amsoil 5w-40 and doing 10k mile intervals with it. The oil analysis said I could go longer but I am happy with just doubling the stock interval.

This weekend I hit 80k miles and I changed the oil yesterday. It was only after I started draining it that I realized I hadn't purchased the next batch of Amsoil. Oops! I guess that is what having a kid (she's now 10 months old) will do to your brain.

Anyway, I ran to Wally World and bought some Rotella T6 to use this time. I am wondering if anybody has any experience doing extended intervals with it, and if I should be ok going 10k with it like I do the Amsoil.

I can obviously do an analysis on it at 5k and see for myself, but I figured I'd ask for opinions anyway.

It kind of depends on the engine, but I've never had a bad analysis with T-6 (or any other oil for that matter) at 10,000 miles.

My past Blackstone's have shown 7-8k just fine, and they recommended I could go 10k. I also run the ELF 7405 filter, and am not towing as much, so I am going with it.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I am feeling better about my last minute decision.

What oils have you had analyzed besides T6, and did you ever decide which oil was best for you?

I have run T-6 for probably 8 years just because the cold weather starts, but have in the past had analysis on Mobil Delvac 1300, Chevron Delo 400, and Rotella 15w-40 at 10-12,000 miles and never had an analysis not say run it more miles. My engine seems to like all three.
