Ground wire & picture attached



Found this ground wire hanging. Does it attach to anything?

That ground is supposed to run to the intake plenum I believe.

Yeap as EvanP said. I think the #5 or #6 intake runner is where it attatches to the plenum.

Thanks for the replies. Where is the intake plenum located? This being disconnected, what effect would it have?

My 87-91 trucks have a ground wire on that bolt just above the heater hoses. If yours is an 87-91 you are missing the ground wire on the firewall right above the heater hoses where they go through the firewall into the heater core.

Thank you for the good reply. I have a 1993 f150 4.9 L 6 cylinder. The fact it's not connected, will it cause any issues?

that is the body to engine ground wire.
connect it to any clean metal part of the engine and you will be good to go.
