transmission leak on 1990 Ford CARGO L-T CF6000

I just bought a 1990 Ford CARGO L-T CF6000 with the 6.6 diesel and drove it home 800 km. When i got home i noticed it is leaking transmission oil pretty quickly. It is a 5 speed manual. How do i check the level on this and top it up? thank you
