got a little side tracked with a water pump on a psd, and picked up a samurai, suzuki 1988 model.

got the truck down to sc!

now heres the goodies!

heres a couple accesories in

yes its a saginaw, should i use atf or power steering fluid?

ac mostly installed

bent my tube a litte(came out of a v8 van, whatever no biggie

lining up the body panels

almost there! flat blacked my ac condenser after this picture

not much clearance!

shes together!

took care of my header issue. hopefully i figured a little restriction there wont be any worse then the square hole it come from

woohoo!!!

hauled 6200lbs of scrap on a trailer, thenbrought my beauty down the next day. ill tell you what. nothing beats walking out your door and seeing your truck in the driveway again.

been slowly tinkering on after i get off work and cook dinner

heres my new weather stripping

wiring up the headlights

i added about two and a half feet to the kit so i could route it down and into my bumper with my kc lights instead of across the top/radiator

new fuel pump

also might have picked up this guy for the same price as the scrap i dropped off...yes shes a little rusty, but i plan on completely sandblasting and painting it along with installing a elocker in between those 4.10 gears

i picked this up thinking it was a dsII harness, but only one connector will plug into my truck on the fender well area?

Got my zf5 full of Atf and put the shifter on. I kinda like the way it shifts, wanna build me a. Short throw now

How can I crest good boots them? I need help from someone that has done the zf5 swap in a smallblock to help me. I used my old pan, might end up one year ripping the now torn rubber floor out and using the pproper pan. But for now I'm not.

heres my shift boot issue
zf5- stops about an inch and a half from the floor
tcase- wont engage 2H if i fit it to the 4low, moves and lifts a good amount if i fit it to 2H

installed my bumper, i took the plastidip off the bottom bumper but i left it ont he brush guard, i like it like this

intake mocked up getting measurements and checking fitting

mocked carb fitting

started raining so i pushed her into the garage and used this to keep the splashing out of betweent he window and hood

going for final assembly!

makes a handy tool tray!

that first bottom bolt was almost the death of me!

all that shine!

im about to head home for the holiday then next paycheck and my dad will hopefully get it wrapped up!
i plan on finishing my vacuum lines and electrical lines tonight and tomorrow before i head home.

i also lost my throttle bracket, so im hoping its on my old motor
yes i have it installed correctly(primaries go to the smaller hole, bottom holes)
throttle is pulling the correct way and fuel is going to the front,
not sure if im going to to a y connecton or a t connection for the fuel.

I ended up using an aftermarket shift boot on the TC shift lever.

Now you understand why people use studs on the manifolds.
It's a lot easier if they hold themselves in place and you only have to get a washer and nut on it.

Looking good!
Enjoy your holiday.

do you recall if it was like autozone or what? the only one ive seen at my local autozone was a square hole.

yeah i took em out and was like this will be easier!...ha!

it wasnt bad because i ahd my alignment pin and the front header has a hole to support the weight and the last intake runner has a hole for the same reason. i just couldnt get my fingers inbetween my alternator bracket, the header and the intake.

My 84 WIP before I sold it. Wish I'd have yanked the body for my 86...
Also note the sweet primer job the PO did for me lol

The bed sides had never been replaced, nor had the cab corners. It was beat up, though.

Here is my old 84 F250. It has a 300 (from 1983 F100; Clifford 6=8 intake, late model efi manifolds, walker y-pipe, autolite 2100, with plans to turbocharge), M50D-R2 (had a ZF, it was stolen), and a Dana 60 from an 89 F350 (converted to SRW) installed.
Truck was a beast, minus the M50...

I'm SO INCREDIBLY lost on my exhaust and what im a gonna do...
I had a sweet sound before( welded thrush into 18" of straight and downturn. Every hole got a quarter inch bigger. Ended in like 2.75 inches or 3" at the down turn. Sounded mean but lost the drone at like 1800-2400. So highway driving and around town was fun and not loud but had a roar when you revved it higher and a nice deep rumble lower.

I've got a set of x pipes and some resonaters off of a random car with the same diameter as my headers though. I'm probably gonna try and use them some how.

Those are the 305/70/16's I told you about. It had a 4" add a leaf before I out the Dana 60 under it. Thankfully it didn't change when I swapped out the TTB/lift from the front. It did sit nice

Little update as of recently.

I figured out my exhaust, just not sure if it'll fit with my drive shaft in, so that'll happen afterward.

Fuel lines ran, ignition being wired up today, rerouting starter wires to go up and over and down instead of through my headers. Then my parts will be here!
I ordered a Speedo gear and clip, a heated intake spacer, new parking lenses(Broncos graveyard is still out of clear ones)
bent up my throttle bracket bracket today. Should mock it up and drill the holes later then paint it.

How do the parking lenses mount to the radiator support?

I'm fairly certain there is nuts on the back, however I'm not sure I have them. Could you take a picture of them when you do look?
