Since you’re towing a camper you might consider Torklift International’s StableLoad suspension upgrade. The lower application has the ability to engage/disengage so you can return to factory ride when the camper isn’t loaded. It will also significantly reduce sway, poor handling, and sag when towing.

with regards to shocks.....IMHO:
1) Koni- Excellent for racing applications- overpriced for street applications
2) Tokico, QA1 & Bilstein- A very good shock for street/strip applications. If you are running very stiff tires on the street (such as Bridgstone or tires with profiles shorter than 50 series), these provide the extra give that you need for both comfort & stability
3) KYB- A very good shock for street/strip applications. If you are running a softer tires on the street (such as BFG or tires with profiles not shorter than 50 series), these provide the extra stiffness that you need for both comfort & stability. The Exel-G’s (formerly GR-2) are the equivalent to the Edelbrock IAS automatic adjusting units. Overall, stiffness between the Gas-a-just and the GR2’s are the same, the difference is the GR-2's valving which stiffens things up from a oem setting to that of the Gas-a-just units.
4) Gabriel- A very nice good quality HD OEM replacement type unit.
5) Monroe- stay away from that junk!

I hope the OP doesn't mind my riding his coat tails…
After lifting my truck the springs compress nicely but the rebound is pronounced. It being a shortish wheelbase likely exaggerates this. I do expect to lift it again later son I don't want to break the bank on shocks I'll resell later.
Suggestions?

It might be best starting your own thread----its possible your questions will be lost after interest in this particular one has waned.

update problem
So i went to order shocks and before i did i talked to someone on live chat and they told me that the Bilstein 4600 shocks 24-016179 and 24-016186
are not for towing and i should get the heavy duty Bilstein shocks because ill be towing a camper.
Now my question is what heavy duty Bilstein should i get and do i just get heavy duty for the rear and just go with the 4600 for the front or get heavy duty ones for front and back and then will the ride be better then stock shocks with heavy duty or a rougher ride?
Front
Bilstein W0133-1911279 B6 Heavy Duty Shock
Bilstein W0133-1910800 B6 Heavy Duty
Bilstein W0133-1910789 B6 Heavy Duty Shock
Rear
Bilstein W0133-1910801 B6 Heavy Duty
Bilstein W0133-1913423 B6 Heavy Duty Shock
